About

Anisha left her career as a Computer Engineer at Compaq/Hewlett Packard after 15 years and decided to follow her passion for helping people, cooking, food, photography and nutrition, and created Heartful Earth Cuisine.

As a Personal Wellness Chef and Essential Oils Coach, Anisha strives to inspire and empower people to promote their health and wellness with food and the power of plants. She creates, cooks and teaches nutritious recipes and meals in your home. Her goal is to bring back the power to reach your wellness goals back into your hands with food as medicine in your own kitchen. Anisha believes that nutritious food can help us stay healthy and can also help us heal and recover. By working with individuals and families on their health goals, she incorporates key nutrients and ingredients in her custom recipes, workshops and menus for each client and family to focus on their individual health needs.

Anisha loves to use and share the message of essential oils for health, wellness, reducing toxins in the daily routine, for plant-based remedies and of course cooking! She personally uses essential oils daily from home made products like mouthwash, bug spray to bathroom and kitchen cleaners, essential oil diffusion as prevention and to support emotional and physical health and well being. Heartful Earth Cuisine isn’t just the name of her company but it also describes what  she offers and believes in. Heartful- is a word she created to describe food that is made with heart and love and is also good for the heart and the whole body! “Earth cuisine” signifies that in cooking and healing and helping people there are no boundaries, and also that the food she prepare and teaches is a blend of her own tastes, learning, family recipes, and is influenced by the countries she has visited and her own heritage. It also means  that real food comes from the earth. Food that heals us also will be good for the earth. Earth Cuisine’s meaning was expanded after a trip to Italy and the Vatican and watching an amazing film. Actions and foods that nourish the earth and mind, body and spirit will also nourish and heal us.

Anisha’s idea of downtime is cooking, recipe creation, walking outdoors, yoga, reading and learning, and exploring cuisines, cultures and history while traveling.

  1. Are you able to provide daily personal chef home-cooked meals that cater to the special health needs of my parents, are delicious and ethnically diverse, and evolve over time as needed? We can provide specific dietary guidelines, but to mention some relevant parameters: my mother is on chemotherapy at the moment so needs to eat a fair amount of protein (soy is especially good) while also taking special care to avoid germs / raw foods unless peeled / reheated foods. She also sometimes has trouble with digestion so especially appreciates smoothies and soups. My father would like to lose weight but is a picky gourmet, so is seeking lower calorie but delicious food. They especially like global foods, so a mix of western and Asian especially. They live in 77042 and have a large kitchen with good space for a personal chef to operate. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Thanks!
